Everybody out there is starting a live video on Facebook or YouTube and If you are not You are really missing a chance of growing up and reaching out to your audience. Because live streaming is one of the best ways to get more views, growing your audience and more influence but If you are just starting now and have no experience then it can be so overwhelming because of fancy hardware and software. So, here I'm sharing at home tips and tricks for live streaming and also gonna share with you an online software in the end, on which you can easily schedule your streaming and save your time.
1- Increase Lightning
Mostly people think they need to invest on expensive cameras, phones and other stuff to record a perfect video but the main thing is lightning. So either place your phone in front of a window where you get natural lightning on your face to make things clear or attractive or just clip a small ring light near the camera to make things clear and more attractive if recording in dark place. Remember good lightning can attract viewers and provides a good quality content.
2- Great Audio
Now the second tip is to have a great audio. This is something on which one should invest because it could be annoying for your listeners, if the audio has low pitch or high or have background noises. Also use soft music if having a background music in your audio as most of the people use headphones for listening and it could be harsh to their ears and they would leave the stream. Just get a good quality mike and try to edit your audio with a good audio editor to remove background noises.
3- Fill Your Frame
What happen when you live streaming up or just starting is to make sure you're filling your frame properly, not just sitting in the corner with messy background or something. Be at the center of your video but if its a gaming stream then place your own video at the corner and gaming video as a full frame. Else make sure you should be the main focus if speaking in your stream.
4- Giveaways
If you are doing a gaming stream then you should invest in giveaways as this attracts other players who does not want to invest and try to get those features as a winning prize. Before starting your stream mention your giveaway details anywhere on the stream or video and try to do it as a reward after watching a stream or completing the dare. You can also publish a post with details of stream and giveaway 2 or 3 days before the actual date as it will make your viewers aware of the stream.
5- Use Easy Streaming Software
Streaming from phone can be done directly from Facebook or YouTube etc but if you are live streaming with a desktop and you wanna make it more attractive or you wanna make a teaching type video then I highly recommend two best software Stream Yard and Live Reacting for pre recorded videos. Both of these are easy to use desktop software and If you are brand new in starting live streaming then this would be the best choice for you.
Bonus Tip
The bonus tip is to have a plan, not just start watching others without any plan or something. First make a complete plan like what you're going to show and what will be the motive and goal of your stream for a successful ending.
